| The annual Port Orchard
Yacht Club Fall Roundup Predicted Log Races is quickly coming up. It is
scheduled for the weekend of October 8, 9 and 10th.
There will be a hot dog and chili feed on Friday night for everyone. I have been told the chili recipe is a family-secret and will not be given to anyone. On Saturday is the race with the awards bring presented after the annual steak fry and raffle. On Sunday is the award winning Club monthly breakfast. We will need observers on each of the boats again this year. If you are interested, please contact Darrel Wood or Fred Cole. It is a good way to get a boat ride and answer your question, what is predicted log racing? SPECIAL OFFER: THE RACE ENTRY FEE OF $15.00 WILL BE WAIVED FOR ALL PARTICIPATING POYC MEMBERS THIS YEAR. So, get out there and try your luck. If anyone is interested in entering this year's race and have a lot of questions on what to do. Give Darrel or myself a call and we will set up a skill session if there is enough interest. The entry forms and course description will be in the clubhouse and on the Club's website.
