I was Born in November of 1948 at PSNS Naval Hospital and raised in Tracyton Wa. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree as eight generations of my family is or has lived here. I’m a proud descendant (grandson) of Chief Seattle. It is said that my great great grandfather owned most of Kitsap (Slaughter) county at one time or another as a owner of a large logging company.

I’m a newer member of the club but I have already learned that volunteers are the backbone of the club. I do enjoy working with others to accomplish tasks and am not bashful about asking for help. After all, our club is about fellowship and camaraderie not just a place to moor boats. I do like to make work fun.

From my perspective, teamwork and fellowship are the keys to any successful organization. I intend to bring a can-do attitude to the club, to make new friendships and do what I can to make the club the best it can be.

I understand that the Commodore has important responsibilities as outlined in the Ops Manual. I will try to fulfill all of the obligations to the best of my ability.
