Lighted Boat Parade
Port Orchard Yacht Club (POYC) is proud to announce the 68th Anniversary of our Annual Lighted Boat Parade and Santa’s seaward arrival to Port Orchard on the evening of Saturday, December 14, 2024. One of the season’s most heartwarming events, POYC members enjoy the opportunity to share our holiday spirit with your families and our community.
The parade of boats with holiday lights starts just after dusk (approximately 4:45 PM weather permitting), near the Southworth Ferry Terminal and continues north along the shoreline through Rich Passage and into Port Orchard harbor. Please see parade route and estimated arrival times below.
To request a special message for Santa to read as the parade passes, please use this link. Alternatively, you may email ‘Santa@POYC.org’ and leave your detailed request. Be sure to include the address of the location along the parade route, a contact phone number in case of questions, and the name(s) and requested greetings from Santa. You can also mail your request to Santa c/o Port Orchard Yacht Club, PO Box 3, Port Orchard, WA 98366. Requests will be accepted until Thursday, December 12th at 5:00 PM.
This event provides a wonderful opportunity to bundle up the whole family and create some warm holiday and community cheer. That special message to a child, parent, or grandparent will certainly make their holiday season brighter!
