We are back at the Bremerton Yacht Club for our traditional Labor Day Cruise. Come by boat (free moorage) for the whole weekend, or by car for part of the event. It’s just a short trip either way. (Sorry, seaplanes not allowed)

ITINERARY (All events held in the Picnic Shelter.)

Friday Sept. 4

• 1:00 PM Earliest Boat Arrival
• 5:00 PM BYOB Happy Hour
• 6:00 PM Steak Fry - bring you main course to grill, club provided Caesar Salad and Baked Potato, bring a dessert to share

Saturday Sept. 5

• 8:30 AM Eye Openers & Hot Breakfast - tentatively pancakes and ham
• 1:00 PM Games  - Axe Throwing, Bingo, Bunco, Horseshoes
• 5:00 PM Happy Hour club provided Beer, Soda and Wine
• 6:00 PM Smoke Salmon Dinner by David Reed 

Sunday Sept. 6

• 8:30 AM Eye Openers and Hot Breakfast - tentatively Bacon and Eggs
• 1:00 PM Games - Axe Throwing, Bingo, Bunco, Horseshoes
• 5:00 PM Happy Hour club provided Beer, Soda and Wine
• 6:00 PM Burgers and Brats - plus sides

Monday Sept. 7

• 8:00 AM Continental Breakfast
• 11:00 AM Latest Boat Departure

Please bring your own glasses, utensils and plates to each meal.
Breakfasts are Bring Your Own Coffee.

The POYC 2026 Poker Run will be Saturday, September 12th. This is the major fundraising event for our Scholarship Fund that helps South Kitsap School District graduates attend college. The Poker Run is followed that evening by the Steak Fry, when the Poker Run winners will be announced and the Gift Basket raffle will take place.

To make this a success we need attendees, volunteers and gift baskets. Right now I am looking for volunteers.

Can you volunteer all or part of your day to assist with one or more of the following?

• Registration, Selling Poker Hands and Raffle Tickets 10:00am -12:30pm
• Selling of Poker Hands and Raffle Tickets  11:00am - 4:00pm
• Margarita bar 1:00pm - 4:00pm
• Counting of Cards 11:00am - 4:00pm
• Raffle Ticket Sales 3:00pm - 7:00pm

In addition to helping a young person's education, this is also an opportunity to earn work hours and meet your volunteer obligation to the club.
