Port Orchard Yacht Club is pleased to offer moorage to members of other yacht clubs that have a reciprocal arrangement with us. To find out if your club is a reciprocal partner, consult your club’s resources.

Amenities
30A power, water, coin laundry, restrooms, showers, and free Wi-Fi.

We have 3 slips dedicated to reciprocal use, available on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not take reservations, and no other slips are available for reciprocal use except these three. The slips and suggested entry into each one are described below.

You may occupy a slip up to 3 consecutive nights and may visit POYC up to 12 nights per year. (The penalty for exceeding those limits is $100 per night)

Once you pull into one of the open reciprocal slips, you must register using the posted QR code or by entering the web address located on the power pylon adjacent to the slip. Those will open a registration web page where you will enter your information, boat information, select your club and length of stay. You will then be required to pay a mandatory $5.00 per night shore power charge. All power is 30 amp. Once that is done, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with the code for the dock gate.

The gate code will also give you access to our day room, showers, bathrooms and laundry facilities. No pets are allowed in those facilities. Guest internet service is available at no cost, and the password will be provided in your confirmation e-mail.

Downtown Port Orchard is 3/4 mile east of the POYC. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance and a Farmer’s Market on Saturdays during the summer season.
Two full service marine repair facilities with haul out, a marine store, and fuel dock are located nearby.

Here are the locations and detailed information on our 3 reciprocal slips.

POYC Moorage Map.

AA-01This slip is 40 ft x 16 ft and has 10 ft depth at zero tide. It is located toward the inside end of AA dock and is reached by going down the fairway between POYC and the Port Orchard Railway Marina to the east. Port or Starboard ties are both acceptable. The shore power connection is in the marked pylon across the dock.
E-01This is a triangular shaped slip that is 49 ft x 13 ft at its narrowest point, but it quickly widens as shown below. Depth at zero tide is 21 ft. Bow in, port tie is suggested, as long as your bow will clear the narrowest point. It is also possible to go stern in, starboard tie, but not all the way if your beam is too wide. You can then leave your bow overhanging the end of the dock. Be sure you have enough length adjacent to the dock to be securely moored. This slip is located adjacent to the shore end of the moorage shed on the west side of POYC. The shore power connection is in front of slip E-03 and is marked. M-15This slip is 45 ft x 18 ft and has a depth of 7 ft at zero tide. Exercise caution when selecting this slip to be sure your boat will not bottom at expected tides during your stay. As the water shallows as you get closer to shore, moving into or out of this slip at low tides may not be possible. This slip is reached by going down the fairway between POYC and the Port Orchard Railway Marina to the east, then turning 90 degrees to Starboard. This is the last slip before the pier leading to the docks. Backing into this slip is recommended, as this will also place your props and rudders in the deepest part of the slip. The shore power pylon is at the western corner of the slip, adjacent to the shed and is marked.

The day room, restrooms, showers and laundry facilities are located near the west end of our property. After exiting the docks, turn right and walk past the clubhouse, turn right up the ramp at the end of the clubhouse, then left down the ramp to the deck. The door and entry keypad are opposite the grills. If the door does not open, first push it then pull after keying in the access code. NO PETS ARE ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING. Please use the pet waste bags provided.
